I got a new phone. How do I keep my faces?

Sign in on the Me tab with Apple or Google before you switch. On the new phone, install Hello Faces and sign in with the same account. Your catches, album and XP come back. A guest player who never signed in can't be restored on a new phone.

Why can't other players see my catch yet?

Every new catch is reviewed before it appears in Judge. Your catch shows in your album right away, marked "In review."

How do I report a face?

In Judge, tap the flag on the face and choose a reason. Our team reviews every report.

How do I change my player name?

Open the Me tab. Tap "New name" for a random one, or "Make my own" to type your own. Names must be friendly: 3 to 20 characters, no links.

How do I turn the Streak saver reminder on or off?

Open the Me tab and use the Streak saver switch under Notifications. You can also turn notifications off for Hello Faces in your phone's settings.

How do I turn off location?

For any catch, choose "Somewhere on Earth." To stop the app reading location at all, turn off location access for Hello Faces in your phone's settings.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Me tab and tap "Delete my account." See Delete your account for details, or to ask by email.
